My Position on the 2016 Presidential Election Part 6: The Election Process

ArcFires Admin • November 6, 2016

Really, we should be focusing on our state and local elections. According to original intent as explained by various Constitutional scholars, we shouldn’t be voting as a people for the President either directly or indirectly through what’s left of the Electoral College. The democracy was not to influence the presidential elections at all, and the President was never meant to be accountable directly to the people, neither was the Senate. Only our local politicians and representatives in the House were supposed to be directly accountable to us. Why? Because we are so easily swayed by the media and emotionalism and peers. Elections turn into socially and emotionally abusive rounds of game theory where votes are cast based on assumptions about how others will vote based on how they think we will vote. Our decisions become tainted by panic and we reason that “because of the situation” we must settle for less. In the meantime, the establishment media is having a heyday directing public opinion rather than reflecting it. This is absurd. When we elect good, honest, and wise men to office, they can they use their best judgment and experience to recognize the best candidates for the Senate and Presidency.

A discussion on the destruction of the electoral college will be reserved for another occasion. Read the book “The Evolution and Destruction of the Original Electoral College“.
